All parents/carers of children at Forestdale Primary School are de facto members of the PTA. The PTA aims to support school activities, organise social events and to raise valuable extra funds for the school used to enrich every child's education.
If you would like to become more involved with the PTA, or have a fundraising idea, please speak to one of the Committee members or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Funds raised help to buy additional equipment for the school such as creating a beautiful peace garden, buying a football table for the after school club, replacing the BBQ for PTA events to sell hot food, buying table top freezers to sell ice creams and lollies at events and outside discos and buying a defibrillator and housing box. The PTA have many other exciting plans for future spending: they plan to buy a piano and an outdoor gym, similar to the one in Lloyd Park but on a smaller scale.
In addition the PTA has paid for visiting theatre groups, crackers for Christmas lunch, oranges to make Christingle decorations, and other activities.
Parents can support the fundraising activities by helping run events and by donating cakes, chocolate and bottles for the various tombolas and discos. Events organised include discos, Christmas, Easter and Summer Fairs, pantomime tickets, fireworks display. Details are on the school calendar and more information can be found on the PTA Facebook page, Forestdale School PTA.
